The problem

Expense claims moved by email and paper, giving no audit trail, no visibility into where a claim was stuck, and no reliable way to enforce company policy.

The approach

Designed a structured three-step approval chain spanning Employees, HODs, HR and Management, with the same flow available on web and mobile. Policy rules were enforced in the workflow itself rather than left to reviewers to remember.

The outcome

Ensured policy compliance while cutting the administrative overhead of processing claims.
